Daisy Duke’s 1974 Plymouth Roadrunner

Remember Daisy Duke’s Roadrunner? Yes, a 1974 Plymouth Roadrunner (yellow with a black stripe) was used by Daisy Duke in the first five episodes of the first season of The Dukes of Hazzard. The vehicle likely had a 383 B-series V8 engine, a four-barrel Carter carburetor, and a Three-speed Torqueflite automatic transmission. All of Daisy’s vehicles had the Hazzard County, Georgia ’76 FCH 630 license plate. For the last episodes of the first season and the second season, a similarly painted 1971 Plymouth Satellite Sebring with a matching “Road Runner” stripe was used until Bo and Luke sent it off a cliff in “The Runaway” after the brakes failed, until it turned into a new one. Likely to have a 340 LA-series V8 engine, an 800-cfm Thermo-Quad carburetor, a 6000 Series, and a 727 transmission with “Hemi” components.
